Let’s be clear about this brochure, it is a brochure that is about “Overseas information”. Some of the trade names of products are just that: overseas trade names.  There are no direct references to potential NZ equivalents / comparables. This was done on purpose; i.e. the brochure directly refers only to products from overseas publications, so that there weren’t any recommendations being made for products that weren’t labeled for such a use in New Zealand.

I am aware that this may be causing some confusion and some requests from growers for products (by trade name), in reference to the brochure, that don’t exist in New Zealand. Business here, such as Horticentre, can suggest other products containing the same active ingredient (in most cases), but not necessarily the same formulation. However be aware that there are one or two instances where the product (active ingredient) no longer exists or hasn’t been available in New Zealand before.
